This is Chelsea's rangoli patern.Yesterday in art we looked at traditional Indian rangoli patterns and then we had to make our own one on the computer. We all enjoyed it because it was very fun and interesting . I did a very random pattern and it was very girly! Some people got to do two because they did it quickly.I only managed to do one though, I wish I could have done another one because it was so fun. On Monday, we started to learn about weight. We first had to estimate how much a bag weighed and then we had to estimate how much each thing in the bag weighed. After that we had to weigh the things to see how much they really weighed, some things weighed much more than you would think! What I found the most surprising was the Narnia book weighed 350g and I thought that it would only weigh 50g!Mrs Mogans said that the estimate I did for the whole bag was quite good because I estimated 2kg and the bag actully weighed 1kg 525g! This is my friend writing down about weight in maths. By Chelsea |
