On Thursday we had our Christmas lunch. The infants had lunch first and we had to wait for our lunch in the playground. Eventually we went inside for ! We had Christmas crackers and sang Christmas songs. It was very fun. For lunch we had turkey, sausage, mashed potato, and carrots (I do not like sprouts). For dessert we had pink cake, yum!!!
Thank you Mrs Fuge. By Noah and Zhane Last week our school did a Christmas concert called 'When Sasha got Swept up the Chimney'. We had a dress rehearsal on Monday and on Tuesday when we preformed in front of the Infant children. Our parents came to watch us as well on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Friday morning. Noah's character was Rudolph and Zhane was a chimney sweep like the rest of the year 5s in our class. We really enjoyed doing the show, it was fun and enjoyable.
By Noah and Zhane This year we are doing a school concert called 'When Sasha got Swept up the Chimney'. It based on a Victorian orphan called Sasha and her friends. Year 6 have the biggest parts, all other other classes have their own songs and dances.
We have been practising for the last two weeks and all we need to do now is polish it off. We are performing it tomorrow (Wednesday), Thursday and Friday. We hope all the parents come and enjoy the show! by Rebecca and Aaron On the 4 of December we had our school Christmas fete. Year 6 had our own stalls. The fate was after school, the infants came too. We had a Santa's grotto and lots of different stalls. Our stall had lots of different stuff like pictures, toys and books . I bought a cake and lots of other things too.
Every class made Christmas decorations to sell. We designed our own wrapping paper, made cubes and cuboids and then wrapped them in our own wrapping paper. I think it went well because we raised £750! Each year we have a special day in school for Children in Need. We want to help the sick children across the world. In school we dress up as Pudsey Bear by wearing spotty clothes and painting our faces. We collect money from all of the children and teachers.
Pudsey Bear came to our school yesterday and gave us all a hug. Please help Children in Need! by Jordan Jones |
