Fundraising Discos

On the 10th of April Y5&6 aranged 4 discos in our school to raise money for our Harry Potter trip to London.  Altogether we have raised £280 pounds in our discos. There were two nursery discos, an infant disco and a junior disco.
 
A massive thanks to Co-op who donated some some food,sweets and drinks. The year 6 helped on the stalls. We could all wear our fancy party clothes to school. We also need to thank Mo who did it for free using Mrs James Disco equipment. We were all dancing, even the boys joined in the Macarana .
 
The DJ played all our favourite songs to the flashing lights. There were loads of sweets, we all bought lots of them and after that the hot dogs were being sold. 

We made a lot of money because Year 6 worked hard looking at the invoices from the cash and carry, calculating VAT and then deciding how much profit we could make. 

It was a very good disco we all enjoyed!
