On Monday class 5/6 went to Garth Farm to do the John Muir Award. A lady called Jo Mullet came and give us a letter about having an adventure.Then we grabbed a clipboard and a pencil and we walked to Garth Farm.We walked down the new cycle track to Garth Farm. Eventually we got to the entrance of Garth Farm and we played "As the wind blows"it is a really good game.
Jo Mullet give us all a tree identification sheet.We walked into Garth Farm and looked for the plants on the sheet.Then we stopped for to minute to listen to the wildlife all around us. We heard the trees rustling and the wind whirling around us, it was magical. Then we went to search for a tree called coppice.Then Kaitlin found interesting things she found a sweet chestnut and lichen.Then we returned back to school. By Olivia and Kaitlin

Wow girls, what a fantastic blog. I really enjoyed reading about the part where we closed our eyes just to listen to what was going on. Well done.
