Yesterday, 17th November, 5m went orienteering in Coed Gwilym Park. When we got there we were all tired because we had to rush from school. First, we had to listen to what Aaron, Angharad and Adam had to say. They taught us how to use the map and we had a game. We had to get into pairs and one of us had to hide a picture and show the other person where on the map they hid it. The other person then had to find it using the map.
Next we got into groups and had to start the orienteering. We had to look for numbers around the park using a map (we also had a whistle and scoresheet),we weren't allowed to go to number 7 and 10 because there were muddy puddles there. Our team team went to number 7 accidentaly so some of us slipped in the mud!!! When we got back to the start Adam told us who won, it was the Rubber Duckies. We really had lots of fun and only three people slipped in the mud. Finally we left the park and had a long way to go all the way back to school. On the way back all of our feet were hurting but it was still really fun. On the way my friend called my teacher, my teacher turned around to see who called her and BUMP! She walked right in to the wall, she did heart herself a bit but she was fine. We all had a good time andall of us would like to go again soon!

I loved Coed Gwilym too, but the thing was is that it was really muddy there and I made the mistake of wearing turquoise joggers because they got stinking all around the bottom bits of them mud was all up the back of the legs and then we had to walk all the way back aswell as walking there but I do prefer walk than go in the car because 1 I like walking and 2 its more eco friendly ;)
