On Friday our school had our annual Eisteddford. We went down the hall and sat with our teams. The names of the teams are Glyndwr,Llywelyn,Rhys and Rhodri(Green,Yellow,Red and Blue). So that the people in the teams stay together, the teachers arange the benches so that we are in four groups. We had different competitions to do a rangoli patten, make an Indian temple and a write a story (also for the BBC Radio 2 Competition.Mrs Thomas showed us the trophy that the red house won last year.
We also had singing competitions and dancing competitions too. The year went first, Amy did a piano solo. Cerys, Mia and Amy sang Tick Tock by Kesha (the all won). Karolinka came on to do a solo on the piano for year 5 and then so did Myha and Rebecca from year 6. Isobel did a violin solo. Karolinka won in year 5 and sobel won in year 6. In year 5 Sophie, Nadhine, Courteny and Katie sang for their houses, Sophie was excellent and came first. In the year six dancing competitions the blue house went first they were really good and at the end they spelled out the blue house so it went like this B.L.U.E BLUE HOUSE. HOwever the winners of the dance were the green team who danced to 'Wild Ones'. One of our favourite competitions was 'Guess the Teacher' where there was a photograph of some of the teachers, and the child who got the most correct anwers was Niamh Lewis in year five. For the best rangoli pattens the winner was for the second time Niamh Lewis! For the Indian temple Teah Loyd Jones was the winner. The person who won the story challenge was Brooke Phillips.
